Growing up, my life was consumed with the recognition that came from athletics. My life was built around this desire and God was just someone who would get in the way of my own selfish desires. Moreover, when this was taken away from me after high school I was devastated. I then submerged myself in the normal college scene. However, as a freshman at ISU, the satisfaction of that lifestyle quickly dwindled. It was during this time that God revealed himself to me. I realized that God was the crux of all my desires. Because of my sin there was a separation between him and myself. It was at this point I saw the love of Christ on the cross and I surrendered my life to him. I came on staff with Campus Outreach in hopes of meeting men, like myself, and developing them into laborers who will be apart of a multiplying movement.
