OUR MISSION
GLORIFYING GOD BY BUILDING LABORERS ON THE CAMPUS FOR THE LOST WORLD
We seek to follow Jesus’s model of loving the masses while investing in a few in order to reach the nations. This discipleship takes place through life-on-life relationships, as college men and women come to know Christ and then mature in their relationship with Him. Our desire is for our graduates to labor for a lifetime within their families and careers throughout the world.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Campus Outreach, founded in 1978 at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL, is an interdenominational ministry targeting strategic college campuses in the United States and throughout the world. The vision of Campus Outreach is to Glorify God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World.
Campus Outreach Indianapolis was established in 2003 and is under the authority of LifePoint Church in Indianapolis, IN. Currently we have staff at five universities across the state of Indiana. RELATIONSHIP TO THE CHURCH
COI is under the supervision and authority of LifePoint Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. LifePoint Church is committed to reaching college students locally and partnering with the broader evangelical community to reach students in this geographic region. This unique relationship with the church gives COI the ability to minister to all students directly and to wholeheartedly support and work with other churches which are committed to the essentials of the faith.
METHOD OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT
God’s work is done as many join in partnership to accomplish the task. The staff raise financial support from individuals, churches, alumni and businesses for their salary, tax, insurance, transportation costs, and ministry expenses. If you would like to donate to COI or a staff member, click here.
