My Testimony: “I spent all of high school trying to fill a hole in my heart that was revealed when my parents got divorced. My freshman year at IUI, I met two guys on staff with Campus Outreach who befriended me, and started asking me deep questions about my faith and invited me to a Bible study. Although I would have said I was a Christian if you asked me, it wasn't until I started investigating spiritual things my Freshman year of college I realized I was not what I claimed to be. One of them invited me to go to something called Spring Conference. It was at this conference where I read my Bible on my own for the first time, and I read about Jesus and the woman at the well, where Christ said whoever drinks of the water He gives to them will never be thirsty again. It was then where I realized that Jesus is the only one who could ever satisfy me, that I had been living a life full of sin, and only Christ could rescue me from a life that was utterly hopeless. It was there that I turned from my sin, and placed my entire trust in Christ. Since then, I have experienced a life of peace, and have tasted and seen endless joy in the Lord. Although it has not been an easy walk, God has shaped me into a man who lives for Him, and sees the need for the Gospel on the college campus.”
