Favorite Verse: Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Reed’s Testimony: “I grew up going to church and always believed that there was a God and I believed the story of Jesus Christ, but I never truly trusted in him as my Lord and savior. Throughout junior high and high school I found myself seeking identity in sports, school, and relationships. After high school I attended the University of Southern Indiana (USI). The first week of school my freshman year, I met a Campus Outreach staff guy who befriended me and began to share the gospel with me. I began to see my sin and my desperate need of Jesus Christ as Lord and savior in my life. I also saw that it was not because of the “good” deeds I did, or because of the “bad” things I didn’t do that I would be saved. However, it is only through true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, that one is saved. About a month into my freshman year of college I trusted in Christ for salvation and have seen evidences of the power of the Holy Spirit making me a new creation in Christ. God has put a burden in my heart to reach the lost and raise up laborers who are zealous to know Christ more intimately and make him known.”

DeeAnna’s Testimony: “I was raised in a great Christian home with parents who always pointed me toward God. But I was living my life focused on getting the best grades in school, being the best in sports, and earning my parents approval, basically everything revolved around me. Through Romans 12:2, God opened my eyes to the depth of my sin which says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” After I heard that verse, I realized that I was conformed to the ways of this world and that I needed my heart to be transformed by God. So I prayed and repented of my sin, knowing that it was only through Jesus’s death of the cross that I was able to have a relationship with God. That He sacrificed Himself to pay the debt for all of my sins.”
