Favorite Verse:
Abby’s: Galatians 2:18-20 "For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Abigail’s Testimony: “My freshman year I met a girl who was in Campus Outreach, and she started reading the Bible with me and a few other girls. I became convinced that the Bible was trustworthy and true, and that following Jesus would change everything. I also began to feel heartbroken over my sin instead of just feeling shame because of it. My whole life I had been told about Jesus but had never understood why he would forgive me. I didn’t want my life to continue the way it had been going so I asked the Lord to open my eyes to see the truth of the gospel. I began to see that what happened on the cross was an exchange - Jesus took my sin on himself and took the punishment in my place, and that in return he offers me his righteousness and perfect record. All I had to do is accept his free gift of grace and trust him completely for my salvation. Because of his great love he brought me from death to life and now I live for him.”
